I have this feeling that many of you especially for male side probably asking the same question. Let me put it straight, woman on the title above mean someone who are not blood-related, or your wife/girlfriend – they are either you friends or totally stranger. Actually, I have several other questions that go under this category: -
- Why is it inappropriate for a straight person (man) to touch a woman but you can touch her if you are gay?
- Why woman can claim the person (man) who touched her and make a case out of it as a sexual harassment but not on the other hand (it will make the guy feel embarrassed)?
- Why it will me you a jerk when you hit a woman but not when woman hit you?
Let me remind you of something. Isn’t it women who always wanted an equality between gender? Well, I am not against equality because I believed that everyone has their right to claim something that they feel is belong to them.
- Woman can touch other women = YES
- Woman can touch men = YES
- Man (gay) can touch women = YES
- Man can touch women = NO
- Man can touch other men = NO WAY!
As a man, I admit that I do not feel like want to touch other man because it will make me feel gay (lol). Even if we accidentally touch each other, we will pull our body part as soon as possible . As far as I concerned, most women feels that when they touch a man mean they want to be friendly with them and of course, we do not mind if they touch us but the theory does not apply the same way for us. Why can’t we do the same? I know some women out there do not mind if a man touches them but in general, most women think it is rude for a man to touch them without permission because they think that we have other "agenda" than just a friendly gesture.
